I love Depp in this scene, he made the hatter so memorable from this movie, especially with how he changes accents, none of them feel out of place.

I get chills every time he says that. You realize these events have really turned the Hatter into a traumatized man. Johnny Depp never fails a performance.

I like this version of the Mad Hatter. How switches between personalities, because of the trauma he endured, makes the character interesting.

I'm surprised no one noticed that when theres a close up of the Hatter the background it divided between day and night from the front of the Hatter to the back, it makes me recall the Tweedles story of the Walrus and the Carpenter.

this is by far the best version of the poem
Johnny Depp really went with a deep voice, almost making us really feel the fear of the poem, and with that mix of accents, the ambient and the soundtrack make it even darker
