The Democrats made a crucial error: they tried to cast KH as this brand new individual, representing a new generation of leadership against the obvious background of having been part of the administration already in the last four years. The Harris campaign ran away too much from what is a very accomplished record. With good messaging, the many achievements could have been highlighted much more often. Look around wherever you live: you’ll likely see infrastructure projects underway already or about to begin! These are the direct result of successful leadership. They should have talked about where we were in the last Trump term and made that very visual and contrasted that against the achievements that got the country back on track.
