The Agfa Iso-Rapid C was the second of 4 models of ‘Iso-Rapid’ cameras produced between 1964 & c1969. It uses the Agfa Rapid film system (adapted from 1930s Agfa Karat system) that uses standard 35mm film in special metal cassettes. Designed as a rival to Kodaks 126 film format, the Rapid system was adopted by a number of manufacturers. The overwhelming success of the Kodak system meant that the Rapid system fell by the wayside in late 1960s.
