Matt Gaetz has only practiced law for 2 years. Most AGs have been practicing for years or decades and have been federal prosecutors or federal judges. He has done none of that. I'm not going to get into all the other allegations against him or ethics investigation. This would be so embarrassing for him to go through the nomination process and vetted by Senate because of his lack of legal experience and legal knowledge and then the personal questions about criminal investigations by DOJ and ethics investigations into him.

He likely will struggle to get confirmed by Congress or just take his name out of the nomination process to avoid the scrutiny and questions regarding his legal intellect.
