Hi everyone! In this video I'm showcasing my most fun and underrated build in Season 5. Not as strong as the S-Tier build but definitely up there in terms of fun and 5Heads. A mixture of comfiness and power with a lot of synergies combined into one build: Blood Surge!

Currently using cruors. Doombringer. Starless. Tyraels. And the new resourse/damage cost increase helmet. T8 hordes. 120 pit. Ez tormented boss kills. 100k hp 4k overpower 1200 crit damage. Blood surge slaps. Hitting 300 mill overpower/crits

Dude, this build is absolutely bonkers!! There is no freaking way I´m playing Bone Spirit, this one is faster and more fun to play. Only thing I replaced your Legendary Amulet for the Banished Lord´s Talisman because after you spent 275 essence it guarantees Overpower with Core skill, so you basically have overpower hits at an insane rate.

I've been crushing with this build, sans bonestorm, since the season start. Given I'm not some god tier gamer and I still only have masterwork 4 gear with suboptimal aspects and 8 on curor but I'm already holding my own in hordes 6.

It's a blast and it fills the entire screen with kills and blood explosions.

Hey Chronikz! Saw on Maxroll that the build changed *a lot* in the latest update. Will you be releasing an update video in the future? I've been following your Maxroll and YouTube guides (following the Planner when I can). Would it also be alright if I shared my current build (and how I've changed it from your guides) if I can figure out the Maxroll Planner on mobile?

I also have a few questions about Uber/Mythic Uniques but those can wait until later 😅

I see you were on T5 hordes because of playing hardcore. What can this build handle with a starless and shako not on hardcore. I’m looking for something other than sorcerer to play.

What about Deathspeaker's Pendant?
You can have 5 Reapers (and only them) so they are close to targets, and they are creating a lot of Corpses so we have more novas on them and on corpses.
Not to mention up to 15 ranks to the Blood Surge.

How would you feel about including Deathspeaker's Pendant in the build (even when sacrificing all minions) as a way to help mitigate Essence issues with the +Essence drained per enemy? Currently using it and it works really nice (at least in Infernal Hoardes and against Bosses/Elites thanks to Cruor's).

I was doing the same thing cause I’ve wanted blood to be great the entire life of d4. One thing I found that solves the essences issue against mobs is essence on kill. You can dip into the bone paragon board to get some. The boss thing is a huge problem for me, I’ve had to sit at a tier 5 compass fight for like 15 minutes just cause the synergy just doesn’t work on bosses.

How does this build fare against Lilith? Having a hard time choosing between your blood lance and blood surge builds.

on maxroll you refer to the 'hardcore variant' but there is no hardcore variant shown in the guide. also how does your build compare to Goblin Inc. on youtube aka Ruse_Cruize on mobalytics blood surge build. he claims it's arguably the best farming build for infernal horde

I'm going to watch this tonight is this build viable for hardcore, and at freshly turned level 100. I need a good build to take on T3 Hordes i can only get 60-80 aether in T3 and am kiting the whole time. Was getting 200+ aether in T2

Awesome build. Have you tried Lucion with more ranks of gruesome mending to keep up with the higher essence demand? Starlight should cover it
