In foreign policy, things are better for France than in a very long time. Leaving the domestic policy alone for a minute, Macron has been doing good work on the world stage. So from that perspective, I hope he has a chance to continue with that part of his legacy.

If Macron loses the "no confidence" vote today, he should (and I think he WILL) call for a snap elections. That's exactly WHY the vote today will fail. The Opposition largely WANTS this reform, but The People don't, so the Opposition wants to blame Macron while letting the reform go into place.
