Something I am currently working on is taking my experience with the Matrix City Sample, going from Houdini, making procedurally generated assets in Houdini, sending to UE, then sending to UEFN. Everything from Houdini City Sample seems to be way too big file size. I can’t even get one single building. Combining city sample with UEFN would be cool. Thoughts?

Hey nice video! I'm trying to replicate this but am still being met by the same error which is: "This non-UI 2D texture is too big. The maximum size is 2048x2048". Is this possible to fix as I would like to use 4k or better textures?

Hey Jay, I've been looking for a tutorial on how to add a custom landscape paint layer from a material. I've even looked into UE5 tutorials and I still cannot figure it out. I want to add snow to an area of my landscape but there is no preset snow. Thanks!

Hey, my texture is 8192 x 4096. Should they read across in parallel to run smoothly (i.e. 8192 x 8192)? I mean it looks great right now but just want to ensure it stays that way

I’m finding that most high quality custom stuff imported into UEFN is way to big to actually launch a session and play in FN. The memory limit in creative is very… limiting.

I dont think you can publish map with 4k materials

It’ll be cool by 2028 we get to play games in 12k, probably get monitors in 12k by 2026.
