Welcome to the concert by the legendary French accordionist Richard Galliano! Richard Galliano is a world-renowned musician and virtuoso on the accordion and bandoneon, known for pushing the boundaries of this instrument with his innovative approach. He gained fame for creating the "New Musette" style, inspired by advice from Astor Piazzolla, blending traditional French folk music with jazz elements. His work is a unique fusion of genres—from classical music (he’s recorded works by Bach, Mozart, and Vivaldi for the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label) to jazz and tango. Galliano is celebrated for his technical brilliance and an "orchestral" vision of the accordion, which he himself calls "a Steinway with straps."

In this concert (2024), he performs as part of the New York Tango Trio alongside exceptional musicians: Adrien Moignard on guitar and Philippe Aerts on double bass.
