Thank you Mike for your efforts. I have just enjoyed a bunch of your vids. I report for Old Autos (Canada) and have 3 articles in Hemmings. Due to COVID, a hernia and two replaced hips, I can't get out like I used to.

That #1 1906 Locomobile is one of two factory race cars. The other, #16 won the Vanderbilt Cup in 1908 and is in the Henry Ford Museum. Rare and important cars in US automotive racing history.

The 1912 Packard was the largest most powerful car of the time and called the Domanant 6. 6 cylinder 525 ci. 80 hp. The car was the tallest, longest and wide. 0-60 in 30 seconds. Record set at Indianapolis Speedway clocking 70 miles in an hour. They made a 38 and 48 model being the largest. I have an orig ad from 1914 and it is listed as " The Boss of the Road". Sold for $4, 850 in 1915. Chief engineer Jesse Vincent was quoted saying "Be careful how you step on this car. It leaps like a projectile" All tires are white rubber. After a few years they added black so the did not look as dirty on dirt roads and were smooth. In rain, mud or snow they had chains untill groves were added.
