I love the gag of "Atomic Shrimp HQ" being a completely different (and sometimes horrible looking) building every time

For people in the US, mind that "Crow Garlic" looks similar to the native Allium canadensis which is considered to be mildly poisonous, it can be eaten but can cause trouble for smaller people or agitate certain medical conditions.

Hard to find a person with a better attitude than Shrimp.

The man, the myth, the legend.

This grows EVERYWHERE in the east US where I live. We have been using it for years for both the bulbs and greens. Just pop out into the yard and dig some up as needed.

I love how these videos are bite sized enough for me to follow and you present the topic interestingly. Just enough for me to retain the information so i can point it out to my friends on a walk. "GUYS LOOK, MINI ONIONS!"

You move around a lot, Mike. Each time you "head back to Atomic Shrimp HQ" it's a different abode. Very impressive indeed.

Hey Shrimp, when you're storing rice in the fridge to be fried the next day, you should leave it uncovered. It'll dry out more and be better for frying as it doesn't trap any moisture!

Very cool! Would love to see more videos that focus on specific plants like this.

I always love finding and cooking with this when I'm hiking on the East coast of the US.

I have a potted chive plant that I planted in 1992. Every Winter I move it to the south facing side of the garage to get it out of the wicked Wisconsin Winter wind. Blooms with white flowers every Summer. Move it back to garden every Spring. Still tastes great. The fried rice dish looked scrummy!

They're adorable. Little onionettes!

I guess the recipe would work well on a camping trip with a single cooker - pack some basic shelf-stable ingredients and a jar of mixed pickles, forage some crow garlic and other veggies along the way, cut up the other ingredients while the rice + crow garlic are cooking, change over to the pan and carry on from there. 😋

Not common in Liverpool as I am yet to come across it on my travels - might go down to the estuary for a look.. Love these videos Mike - I recently found Roger Philips mushroom book in a charity shop for 50p! (I gave them £10) so I'm looking forward to replaying your videos and going out on the hunt!

These are everywhere in my are of Massachusetts. We use them as chives. We keep them in our garden in a spot surrounded with blocks so they don’t get out of control. We live in a coastal forest area.

I will forgive the clickbait thumbnail because the mental image of somebody sitting down to eat 1000 raw yellow onions is a priceless gift I will cherish forever XD
