ENJOY2FLY Fattie F14 Maiden

The f14 fattie enjoy2fly for a maiden. Not grass capable. Needs to be flown in fast. 4s 4000 mah for power. Flew better than expected. Even off pavement the prop rubs. The retract were a nice touch but won’t handle bad landing. This plane needs to land fast. Steering is over done and can be dialed back with less throw. Overall a toyish plane for amusement. The edf version would be a lot more fun

I ordered the EDF version so now I’ll have two of them. The prop one and EDF. I emailed them about spare parts for it but they never got back to me. The front gear doors on mine need to be replaced. Don’t know how well it will fly with a big hole under the nose causing drag on it.

I find that flying it on a 4S 2700 or 3000 is the best for it. Low rates is best for it. And you have to land it hot and flat due to the rear prop and fat belly. You will break the pins for the mains from time to time. And if you ever need to replace the main retract units on that thing the Eflite 70mm Viper ones drop right in, it’s a match to the ones in it.

I have the EDF version, will be building it this week, they told me that this prop one can be hand launched, but they do not think the EDF version can.. but at the end of this video you say the df version can, what information do you have that suggests it can, it would be great if it
