This is Jean Smart’s Golden Age. She started in Designing Women with her late husband Richard Gillibrand, has worked pretty steadily since then, including a great stint in Fargo, an Emmy for Frasier, and her career has taken off within the last few years. She’s a fabulous actress, beautiful, and from what I read is very well liked in Hollywood. I always root for her when she’s nominated for something and she should be busy for a long time to come.

Right on! I've been a fan of Jean's for roughly 35 years and this is the best thing she's ever done IMO. She REALLY deserved this. IDK that she believed she was going to win this. It's REALLY hard to work when a beloved spouse/soulmate dies in the middle of production and I can't even imagine the strength it took for her. Jean is a real icon and I admire her so much. ♥️
