It sounds difficult, but if you immerse yourself in it while not needing resolution, a lot of things become clear on their own. However, it helps to take a break every once in a while from heavy immersion to explore other traditions' writings while keeping to the GD practice. It helps break patterns that limit your thinking and exposes you to new ideas that can help to see things more broadly. Whatever your practice, it's good to stick to it with consistency in order to grow, but branching out at the right time can help as well

Dr. Puca....Any way of learning/knowing/fact checking if CSLewis was an initiate/member of the GD? I know his ink friend Charles Williams was for a good while and he had constant communication with Lewis but anything more I hit dead ends (which makes it even more suspect) and since I just can't hop over to Oxford...well it makes research rather taxing. Only thing to draw on as hints would be the Chronicals and The Space Trilogies (of which a good dose of reading between the lines needs to be added)...anyway just curious figured no harm asking.

In all honesty it makes sense. If you look at tantra or certain sects of Buddhism and Hinduism. It is very similar and this is for general practioners. The monks of course take it to that next level.
