This video is the 5th part of the lecture series- FRUITS. It describes the basic feature due to which the Pome fruits (e.g., Apples, Pears etc.) are called False Fruits, as they develop from Thalamus or Receptacle. The part eaten is basically the Fleshy Thalamus and not the ripened ovary.
