Generation Records new and used, but not as seasoned as the others. Downtown Music Gallery great selection for those looking for unusual hard to find not your run of the mill stuff, located in Chinatown. I used to shop in Greenwich Village with my friend Mike (now deceased) in the early 1980's. Seeing these shots reminded me of those bygone days. GENERATION RECORDS came along much later, by the 1990's, I think. But back between 1980 - 1984 I do recall going downstairs a lot into underground basement shops where I would obtain a lot of rare Beatles bootlegs! I have not traveled to Manhattan to do any record shopping since I got back into vinyl in 2011, which is hard to believe. But any time someone comes into my local record store and talks about NYC, they claim that the records are very expensive and that there are not many stores anymore. But your video certainly makes me think twice.. thanks.
