We'll check out France's second city, the tragically underrated culinary capital of Lyon, before exploring the châteaux of Vaux-le-Vicomte and Cheverny. In the Dordogne, Sarlat hosts a thriving market—one of France's best. And in the sunbaked South of France, we explore the urbane resort of Nice and the Roman temple and arena in the city of Nîmes. For dinner, we'll have a gourmet charcuterie board of French meats, cheeses, and tapenade from Le Pichet, a local Seattle restaurant, and a bottle of French wine. I like how the French possess such a love & passion for their culture, for their food & for all things genuinely French! Contrary to popular belief, it's not arrogant, it ought be expected & it's great for them & for all who visit France. They must always preserve their wonderful history, culture & way of life. We see this within all countries anyway.
