Things I really love about this moment
1. The actor. He isn’t just sad when he always went back to his parents, he’s downright distraught. He was always the most optimistic in his band, even with Julie, so it’s great contrast when he’s by himself.
2. Luke can only be heard if he’s playing with Julie or playing music. So it’s possible that the parents think they’re just imagining his voice when in reality, they can hear the actual him
