Buy more of the new double pet scrolls, those trade well. Also ride pots, although they dropped in value a bit, they can still get you a legendary + small adds. And every time new pets come out, ride pots go back up in demand. So they are always worth having. I would focus on buying more scrolls though.
Prank Idea: Edit his house so that you place a block where he enters the house, this will cause him to spawn in a new area. Build a jail cell there.
