I don’t know what the fuss is about. He has been saying for years that he considers himself a king for the people of all faiths and has expressed his appreciation for values outside of the Church of England. I am not surprised at this. I don’t know if he is genuine or if it is just one of those strategies making the monarchy seem more open to more people.

Why do they envy us so much for practicing? If they want to fast for lent, please do that. Fasting and sacrificing is a beautiful way to display humility and devotion to God. But don't take your anger out on us for not being performative about our faith.

As a believer in principled decency and a Christian who used to give up puddings/desserts for lent (A long time ago), I say hats off to Charles for demonstrating some principled decency and respect for his neighbour. I know its a gesture but it is an important gesture I think.
