Slim jeans and boots are not the combo in my opinion. Either put the boots over the jeans or even better put on jeans that can fit over the boots without showing the boots through the jeans.

I appreciate you trying my friend some words of advice. Do more of a straight fit pair of jeans like Levi's 501's or go with some boot cut jeans like the slim fit cowboy cut from Wrangler. But it was a good first attempt.

The jeans aren’t wide enough to go over the shaft of your boot. Try the Wrangler retro slim fit boot cut. Everything else looks good.

That’s what we call high-waters. Jeans too short, and also way too tight. Your jeans should be touching the spur shelf on the back of your boots, and creased at the vamp in the front. It helps to order a size longer than you usually wear.

Try it again and you’ve got it chief, maybe some wranglers that fit good and some kind of button up that’s not just white. Less your goin to a wedding I wouldn’t recommend it. Try a pearl snap and some non slim fit jeans and you got it man.
