Oreo O's (2017)

It's time to, once again, talk about Oreo O's cereal. Yes, POST has heard our cries and they finally reintroduced the beloved Oreo O's cereal to the US market. It's basically the same as Malt-O-Meal's Cookies & Cream cereal, but at least we get a new Oreo O's box! What other products/snacks from the 90s do you wish they'd bring back?

100% right. Admittedly we in our house ate the original version of Oreo O's like it would vanish at any minute... and we were right, since it did! We tried the 2.0 version when we saw it reintroduced in 2017. What you said is on the noise: It doesn't taste as "pure" chocolaty like the original, and its crunch is more flimsy - almost a more chalky texture. We never bought it again; it wasn't "special" like before.

Grabbed the giant new box form Wal-Mart over the weekend. I love it, and am happy to have it back. :-)

I'm glad you brought up the Malt-O-Meal bag. I found that when I was looking for Oreo-O's and was curious about it. So the explanation is much appreciated! :-)

It pretty much tastes the same as I had back as a kid. The only thing I miss is the marshmellows, but then again, they were just added for some extra sweet texture. Great to see Post license out Oreo O's again.

your right i do remember them have much stronger chocolate flavor and being more dense and holding up better in milk it took along time for the original oreo O's to get soggy in the milk and from what i remember about the original oreo O's cereal i liked them better then the new oreo O's cereal

I remember eating Oreo O’s at my grandparents back in the day. They taste just like Oreos.

I work at a post warehouse, and Oreos is popular on Friday when we get take home. We're allowed 6 boxes of cereal usually leftovers from an unfinished order, or from a pallet that was damaged.
