👉 Learn how to simplify rational identities involving addition and subtraction. To simplify rational identities involving addition and subtraction, first, we find the LCM of the denominators which most time is the product of the terms in the denominators.
After we have found the LCM of the denominators, we next, multiply the numerator and the denominator of each rational identity with a factor that makes the denominator equal to the LCM obtained. This leaves all the rational identities with the same denominators, we can then add/subtract the numerator.

Common trigonometric identities like the quotient, reciprocal, even, odd, co-function, and Pythagoras trigonometric identities can be applied to further reduce the original trigonometric identity.
