Street Preaching at DRAG SHOW Festival | Ep. 8

We went to a gay pride event in a town called Morehead, Kentucky to preach the gospel at their first annual gay pride festival. There were multiple drag shows going on throughout the day. We had several different encounters with people, including a man who was there to support his gay son, and the conversation led into him telling us that he was struggling with the guilt of killing six different people.

My Testimony:
I grew up in church, but instead of knowing Jesus, I only knew religion. This led me to live a very hypocritical lifestyle. By the time I was in college, from the outside looking in, it seemed like I had everything together in my life. I was in the military, getting paid to go to college. I had plans to become a financial planner and expected to make a six figure income shortly after completing my degree. I had joined a fraternity and had access to all the alcohol, drugs and girls that I desired. In spite of all of that, on the inside I was broken, depressed, and empty as I searched through the world for something to satisfy my void.

I radically encountered God in a rock bottom moment and everything in my life changed from the inside-out. Instead of pursuing my own life plans, God rerouted my life into full-time ministry. After joining a local church, I began to voluntarily serve for several years. Over time that led into a church staff position opening up for me. As a result I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats including: administration, overseeing media, sound, & lights, leading worship, preaching, leading outreach ministry, and many other tasks that have arisen with ministry. While being faithful with the small, the Lord started to open doors for me to preach and equip the saints at other churches as well.

God has expanded His reach through the ministry to include not only many different states in the U.S., but also several different nations. Via in person encounters and social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, we're reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

God has given me a beautiful wife named Abigail, and blessed us with two lovely children named Nora and Will. Abigail is currently on staff at our church as the Worship Pastor. Our hearts desire is to love God, love others, and walk as Jesus walked.

God will judge… in 2008, I was a gay-identified man, in a committed, monogamous same-sex relationship, active in an affirming church, then found myself in an ICU where the medical team classified me clinically dead after a 22-minute flatline. I experienced death, judgement and hell. When I couldn’t take any more demonic torment, I cried out in repentance, “Jesus!” and I heard the Savior say, “I am here.” At that moment, I saw with my eyes the Wind of the Holy Spirit fill my ICU and with great power, He pick up Satan and the demonic and blew them out of the room. On that day, my life changed, the redemptive Blood of Jesus cleared my mind, and completely healed and restored every failing organ. Glory to God!

What is making people uncomfortable is not the message, but their conscience confronting them. They try hard to deny what they are doing is wrong and is actually hurting them. God who is love wants to set them free and give them true freedom in Christ Jesus.

The guy in the glasses seems like a nice guy. He has killed people for his country but carries around the burden of guilt for those he killed. I pray he forgives himself and repents so that God can forgive too. 🙏
