In this lesson, you will learn about the fundamental principles of physics. We will focus on learning what is energy, force, motion, and waves in physics. In motion, we study how object move, including their position, velocity, and acceleration in two dimensions. We then tie these ideas to energy, which is another way of expressing how a system will behave or move. Potential and kinetic energy are explored. We then discuss the orbits of the planets, and the centripetal acceleration needed to cause a body to orbit a planet. We conclude by discussing waves and interference of waves.

Every once in a great while you come across an educator who is the total package. This gentleman is the consummate "teacher"! He not only tells you what he is going to teach you, but he shows it and explains it, and most importantly communicates "why" we need to know this and where it "applies" in the real, material, physical universe. I wish I would have had this professor when I was in school, but as they say, "It's never too late to learn". So, I am continuing to learn as an older, 60's guy, and I am having a ball doing it! Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you, and God Bless this

This video changed my life. From zero interest in both math and physics to courses with piles of books. Jason, god bless you for the way you teach.

The w r t "with respect to time"
That was such a great way of putting it. Awesome. Just for that simple phrase was worth the whole hour. It's like the gluten that makes it possible for a good loaf of bread. Thank you.. I have been using the formulas but that simple aspect had never come across to me in all these years.

Again, this is another great lesson. Thank you very much, Mr. Gibson! I believe, by watching your videos, thousands or even millions people around the world have found motivation in studying at school. They do not hate Math, Chemistry, Physics, etc. any more but indeed they become more interested in learning and discovering. You are actually making the world better.

His courses are epic, due to the fact he worked for NASA once, I'm sure. I have followed this guy for 18 months via his courses and web site, and he has taught me, Algebra, Calculus, linear Algebra, MatLlab, Excel, Statistics, Chemistry, engineering maths, and totally reinvigorated my love for the sciences. Thanks Jason, you are a legend. I may not have a total grasp of all subjects, but the skills I have learned from you will stay with me for the rest of my natural life, or at least until my mind deteriorates.

How Marvellous this lesson has been is 10 to the power of 39! Honestly. Now that does not mean that all those stuff have become intuitive, no, far from it, but it has kind of stopped my brain and pulled it down and telling it to focus and keep focusing and just imbibe the whole things. And the Teacher has really played the mesmerising.role here with the constant words of reassurance support and really Demystifying the whole concept.of Physics which at the end of the day almost all around us.Thanks a million.

I started CNC 15 years ago, electronics 10 years ago, 3d printing 5 years ago, robotics and engineering 2 years ago... Im 56 now and all along the way i realized the "Why am i learning this" when i was in school.. I wish I could go back, I would pay far more attention and much less partying and complaining.. more grateful and serious about my education and the teachers i took for granted all those years ago..

The best teacher I have ever seen so far. Everytime I had a problem with math and physics, I watched your videos and my problem was solved. I really appreciate you for your beautiful teaching sir🙏

An accomplished educator par excellence. I have always been fascinated by physics and the derivations of formulas and the nuts and bolts of what is deep inside each, the underlying fundamental principles in them. But being upwards of 60 yrs from India is no bar to learning from this gentleman as he walks us through the intricacies with consummate ease. 👌Great stuff

"Right now we believe gravity is only attractive" Sounds interesting. This - among some other statements - makes your persuasion brilliant. Simply brilliant. 👍
