Military Mom Surprises Daughter at School After Iraq Tour

A first-grade teacher gets a jaw-dropping surprise in class, and her mask goes along with it! Samantha Norris was in shock when her mother, an Army sergeant, walked into her classroom after a year-long deployment in Iraq. Her students quickly figured out what was happening as the mother and daughter embraced. Samantha told Inside Edition she still can’t believe it. “She is always one for surprises but this one I was not expecting at all,” she said.
