Best decision for both parties tbh. Amorim should have 100% of his own staff. How the future is no one knows but Ruud is manager quality and should be a manager elsewhere

If Van Nistelrooy was truly the right fit for the job, INEOS would’ve given him the permanent position after Ten Hag left. But they didn’t—because managing United long-term requires more than a few decent games as interim manager. If he were really that good, he’d have been the obvious choice. United will move on, as they should, focusing on a manager with the full trust of the owners and a clear vision for the future.

I totally agree . Whilst players like Ruud, they liked Solksjaer too and look what happened. Makes no sense for a new coach having a coach from the previous staff working with him over his head and undermining it with the players.

Ruud will inevitably return one day. He has now to go out there and gather and accumulate all the relevant experience and prove himself with another club before he is courted back when the time comes. One thing's for sure, his communication and man-management skills are already a marked 100% improvement over TH's and players respond to these qualities.
