I watched the video Doctor4t made about the 50k mod. Nolan had to cut so much out 😢 Like there were custom transitions, custom Ambiences and much more!!

1000$ mod-reskinned villagers, new village, and UFOs that do something
5000$ mod-basic gun mod with a bad reconstruction of Fortnite map
10000$ mod-spells, good effects, challenges, boss
50000$ mod-entire new dimension, different challenges, cutscenes, no bugs, great effects, different mechanics and fun gameplay

Imo, 50k one should have won, Fortnite one was overrated

L vid, not only did Fortnite mod not deserve to win, but they even removed the credits at the end of the doctor4t mod. And they didn’t even use the shaders, which completely took away from the whole experience! What a shame.

I feel like the Mr Beast style editing didn't really match the eerie, eldritch vibe of the 50k mod. Especially when you go in with full bright and no shaders.

How? Explain to me How did a 50k Mod not win? It had a actual story line that even could fit into Minecraft lore, actual amazing graphics and special effects, Bosses. They Spent 2 Months, having blood, sweat, and tears.

To eventually lose to a Shitty Mod that you can create in hours.

the fortnite one winning is honestly heartbreaking. no creativity, actively missing fortnite features like shield and parachute, and worse guns than most gun mods that already exist.

The fact that they played the 50k mod with fullbright on completely spoiled the ambience of it.

the only reason im unhappy with this rating is the absolute time and effort needed to code something as cool as the 50k one. the fortnite one was function, but didn't add anything new to minecraft except for guns (which are in like 20 modpacks) and retextured stairs. the fact that the 10k magic one, which actually needs effort for all of the effects, rated 10 lower than fortnite is just wrong. and, the 50k one has so many visual effects. it's not just a cool mod, but you have to appreciate the time and effort needed to create such a huge maep and add circles into minecraft

How exactly does a bad gun mod with pop-in building mechanics + cheap basic map win over a whole dimension with cutscenes and custom effects, the latter of which you ruined with fullbright and not using the included shader
