Apple just released iOS 18.4 RC 2 (Release Candidate 2) to registered developers and also to Public Beta testers. This update contains a few new changes, including a change to AirPods Max and some bug fixes. Bro, they removed the option to delete all photos at once in recycle bin without clicking the select button, that was a good improvement but they removed that feature

Great vid as always Brandon! I got the notification of the 18.4 RC 2 release from your vid notification before my news apps could! LOL 😂

After updating to 18.4 RC 2 I noticed that the transcription feature is *finally* available on my iPhone 16PM and iPad Pro for Canadian English! This works in Voice Memos, Notes and the Phone app (when you record a call)! I just tested all three.

I’ve been excitedly waiting for auto transcriptions since they were announced and Apple really took their time getting Canadian English support out, but we’ve got it now! French too! ✌️

This may be QoL update. I don’t care about new features anymore. I just want a good predictive text and autocorrect on the keyboard. Predictive texts take like 2-3 seconds to load.

My iPhone 16 is running RC 1. It crashed 3 times randomly during the day for no reason, but the scores on Geekbench 6 were TERRIBLE. I usually score a 8100-8200 but not this time. IT WAS 7400!

I didn’t experience any full reboots but I did experience several resprings on iPhone 14 Pro Max.
