2016 Civic Type R (310hp) - 0-270 km/h acceleration (60FPS)

Super STRONG Autobahn acceleration run with the 2016 / 2017 Honda Civic Type R GT powered by a 2.0 Turbo delivering 310 hp and 400 Nm of torque through FWD and a 6-speed manual (weight: 1.390 kg). As you can see, acceleration figures are pretty decent and on the same level as the GTI Clubsport we've recently tested, very astonishing considering the Clubsport had DSG. It's also hard to believe the this engine has only 310 hp as it pulls at least equally strong as our new Focus RS. One major advantage is the short gear ratio that always keeps the engine in best mood but of course also isn't perfect for longer Autobahn drives. I don't know if I'd want this over the RS, but for its segment that is an extremely nice interior. And I'm sure the transmission probably feels better than the RS and STI.
