Zendaya Stars in Disney Pilot 'Super Awesome Katy'

Zendaya's New Disney Show "Super Awesome Katy"!

Just when you thought you'd have to say goodbye to seeing Zendaya on the Disney Channel we get breaking news that the Shake It Up star is set to star in her very own on show pilot the popular TV network. The new show, titled "Super Awesome Katy," will feature Zendaya playing the title role of Katy (Katy Cooper to be exact), an out-spoken, tech-savvy 16 year old black belt, who finds out that her mom and dad are spies AND that they expect her to follow in their footsteps. When the news about this pilot broke Zendaya immediately hit twitter to promise her fans that if the show does get picked up, she promised to make the "dopest" Disney show. She went on to say QUOTE "I want to bring back the cool Disney Channel...I talking about That's So Raven...Lizzie McGuire...Proud Family...Kim Possible feel...ya'll know." No word on when we'll find out if this pilot is picked up, but you know we will keep you posted. What do you guys think about this great news?
