I don't have any plans of owning a large snake, but it's still really upsetting to me that they would put this ban up. It's an illogical way to solve a largely nonexistent problem outside of Florida. The people hurt by this are the animal lovers: people who wouldn't release their animals into the wild and certainly not the irresponsible people who started this problem in the first place.

Thank you so much for this video Brian. When I heard the new this morning I honestly cried because I have such a passion for theae large constrictors. I have gladly donated 50 dollars to USARK I wish I could do more. I plead to everyone no matter how small please donate so that we can continue our conservation of these amazing animals.

Love these episodes. Highlighted a real issue here Brian. It's good to have someone who knows what they are talking about explaining the issue. There's a serious lack of education around these species and that's something that needs to be fixed.

Brian, this made me cry! I love seeing your passion for reptiles. You are so true about the loss of education. This will further restrict people's knowledge capabilities for these gorgeous animals, and will increase the fear mongering and stigmatization they hold. :( My dream was to own a Retic down the line; owning over a dozen snakes including pythons and boas, you find that they all have distinct personalities. To think that the Lacey act is restricting me, and other herpetoculturists, in getting another companion is awful.
