Watch_Dogs 1 was the all-around best of the franchise, each subsequent game strayed further and further from what made the first so great. Not to say they’re bad, but just not as good.

Wd1 it's like john wick so don't compare it with kid hackers who can only parkour and gadgets, Aiden is even smarter than the other main characters

Aiden would Curb Stomp Marcus and his Gang, don't get me Wrong I love the First and Second Game but when you think about it Aiden Took Down the literal Mob, King Pins, Ex Military Thugs and more while Marcus and his Crew were messing with Hollywood and Rich People heck your main Villian was some Rich Snob while Aiden took down a Man who was black mailing the Mayor and Running the City from the Shadows.

Gunplay Is by far better on whatdogs 1, and personally i like Aiden the most, Marcus Is just...anoying. but yeh one game Is for messing around with a More developed hacking system but weak guns Gameplay and the other hace a strong story, More edgy but with a More bring open world because of limited hacks and a karma system.

But for me wins the first because the sound of headshots Is uuuff 🥴👌🏻

Also WD1 is better for me because of atmosphere.
