Even though he was 76, George Forman’s death was a bit of a shock, as he always seemed so full of life. Every generation has their favorite prize fighter, but I think that Forman was one of the best there ever was. Not only was he talented in the ring, but he also seemed like a genuinely nice guy. My three favorite guys from boxing’s golden era are gone now: George Forman, Muhammad Ali, and Smokin’ Joe Frazier are all gone now, but their legacies will never be forgotten. If there were to be a boxer’s mt. Rushmore, these three
Should definitely be included.
