My father was a Black Panther. I am so fortunate to have gotten a solid, Black history education as a part of my foundation. I would later go on to earn a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a PhD from an Ivy League university. The education I received at home from my self-educated father who was an 8th grade dropout tops them all.

Lets not let them
- erase our history.
- continue to tare apart our families & our communities.
- give us a false sense of justice.
- stop us from attaining what is rightfully ours, right here on this land soaked with our blood, sweat and tears.
- continue to sell us a lie they call the ‘American dream.’

Let’s take it back. Through hell or high water, let’s truly live free ✊🏽
