Sad, Dream cast still had a lot of life left, they could of added a lot more games and taking their time to tap it's potential to the fullest. Sad

Lotta memories at the arcade back in the day playing Sega games. Never could afford a Dreamcast though back then. So I went with the PlayStation over the N64. I don't regret my decision. But Sega will always have a special place in my heart to recognize it was a machine that was way ahead of it's time. Costly price killed it, and the lack of exclusives really put it in game graveyard.

I have D 2 myself in my DC collection and the game was delivered on 4 DC disks, is in itself a cool game, if only it wasn't only in Japanese^^ I got a converted DC for Christmas, black gray painted, with a GMU hard drive mod, which is really cool, almost all games in English also D 2, English audio that makes the game really nice, because it's a relatively good game, on the hard drive I think there are about 200 to 300 DC games on it with some banger titles^^ Cool in itself, it cost me 270 dollars, but that was somehow worth it to me. Really nice Video.

The toejam and earl game on there was never released on the dreamcast, it got moved to the Xbox after the dreamcast was discontinued

In Europe the ubisofts racer game Speed Devils (on PC Speed Busters) was a great DC Game in 1999. Great Arcade racer fun.

Dreamcast Chd files over Gdi files. You can save so much space on the hard drive.

Since you mentioned preferring mouse and keyboard, Quake 3 supported keyboard and mouse on Dreamcast. Half Life 2 probably did as well.

The Dreamcast was the only console at its time AFAIK that had a keyboard peripheral available. Typing of the Dead was a title that Sega promoted pretty heavily.

How do you get this running on a PC? I don’t have a raspberry pi and for $300 it’s probably not worth it.
