Book Review: 'Paradise in Gaza' by Niq Mhlongo

We have once again received a year-end literary treat from award-winning author Niq Mhlongo. His latest book titled Paradise in Gaza gives us a glimpse of life in a small village called Gaza, as well as the hustle and bustle of Soweto, where the story is set. This is where we get to meet the book's protagonist Mpisi Mpisani, who's in a polygamous marriage, as he returns for a short trip to his birth home for burial. A mysterious tragedy befalls his family and extends his stay for longer than expected. Well, to indulge us further into what happens as this story develops, author Niq Mhlongo joins us now on Skype.
