Märklin Starter Set - Let's build a model railroad - Ep. 01

We will build a model train from scratch in the next couple of episodes
On this table top in front of me we will create a beautiful model train landscape during the series.

We will build up a complete scenery with a beautiful landscape including houses, electric lighting and signals and just everything that we can control digitally and analogue.

If questions should arise about the construction of a model train then don't be afraid to ask them in the commentaries. We will answer them in every episode.

This is very useful, Some of my old trains are nearly 50 years old and remain analogue but newer ones of course digital and a few with the Delta chip. As such I run one line in Digital and the opposite direction separate track is analogue. The two lines are connected but electrically isolated and the third circuit is the shunting which runs on the catenary and can cross both lines independently.
