I’m waiting for that wasp to get warmed up and start hilariously chasing Craig and Dan around the shop.

I really think you should fully restore that one! What a find

Grag, engine Minarelli is one of the best engine manufacturers from Italy. The engines were still made by hand in a small workshop for a long time. Especially in the lower cc groups, in the motocross area. You could easily get a 50cc engine with a 21 Delorto, special exhaust e.g. Polini and gear ratio to 120-30 kmh. Sharp camshafts and ignition and 160 kmh was no problem. The gearboxes were solid and indestructible, the large cooling fins on the Italians were noticeable in my youth, the non plus ultra for us Italian freaks. We drove Gilera, Garelli, Malaguti, Fantic, the other faction drove Sachs and Zündap, Herkules, Sachs, Kreidler engines. The first Kreidler was an unthrottled motor bike with a 50 cc engine in 1951... speed record for 50 cc motorcycles of over 200 km/h.

Motori Minarelli is actually still active and is very popular in Europe for producing the AM6 two-stroke engine. That engine has been in production for over 25 years, and hasn't changed much in all those years. The amount of aftermarket parts for that thing is just wild. Great platform for beginner tuners.

That's a great bike Craig. Nothing better than the sound and smell of a 2-stroke...
Thanks for the Indian history lesson. I never knew they were involved with Yamaha.
It's really amazing that they were together until 2020.

Just the kind of bike I love to see on this channel. Old, odd, rusty and in serious need of well deserved attention. An unpolished gem that would slip by for 90% of the people coming by it.
I have a compressed work schedule and work every other week, so I don't really look forward to Fridays like most people do in anticipation of the weekend. However, the release of a new vid here is such a valuable occasion in the week, especially now in the winter when the snow is deep and the sun goes down at 3pm. Pretty sure you've inspired thousands of people out there to do more than just wash their bikes two times a season.
Keep on rockin' and Merry Christmas.

I started to write a comment about the yellow jacket you guys thought was a bumble bee or a bee... then I read the comments and realized that topic has been well covered. Cool bike.

Craig is super awesome and knowledgeable, but Dan’s attitude is a big part of what makes me keep clicking on these videos. Just infectious and joyfulnlol

Bees have no thin waistline, wasps do. Bees can only sting once, wasps can sting many times....just so you know :) Great video Craig!

Am I the only person who knows you both can tell a wasp from a bee and deliberately said it wrong for the comments and therefore the Youtube algorithm? Clever. Love the vids. Have a wonderful Christmas!

That INDIAN looks so cool. I love it. My buddy in high school in the 80s had an INDIAN 50cc mini bike.

England (my home country) is such a tin pot little island that the chance of randomly coming across anything good in a barn is not so good. Of course there is stuff out there but finding it is near impossible. So that’s why I love watching all the channels over in the USA reviving all these great forgotten vehicles 👍

This video is super inspiring! My dad has had one of those 1970s Aermacchi AMF Harley-Davidson motorcycles collecting rust outside for as long as I can remember. Similar in size to this Indian, it has a small single cylinder engine& I’d love to bring it back to life.

Great job! It would be great if you could also do something with all that rust. Sandblasting or something.
