They should have closed the roads and diverted traffic before the snow, not when it got bad. Anyway it's such a bad idea for this journalist to try and get to the snow... The roads are terrible and traffic is backed up.

I don’t think our country is very resilient or rather it does not have resilient principles, if a small thing such as snow can cause such headlines and premature deaths. Our national department needs to do better or atleast have disasters management plans for every possible disaster, not just hurricanes or floods. But they must be prepared and trained for the worst possible scenario, we can’t be always referred to as a third world country, we need to develop.
