Food Security - GCSE science, Biology (9-1)

Показать описание
This short Tassomai tutorial video explains the concept of food security - the ability for the global population to produce enough food to sustain itself
It will help you learn and revise content required for all major GCSE specifications including AQA Separate, AQA Trilogy, AQA Synergy, Edexcel Combined, Edexcel Separate, OCR 21st Century, OCR Gateway, WJEC Combined, WJEC Separate, IGCSE, CIE Coordinated and CIE Separate.
3 key facts to remember about food security:
1- Food security is under threat from several factors, which make it likely that we will struggle to feed the world's population in future.
2- Population is increasing, meaning more mouths to feed, and meat consumption per capita is also rising (meat production is more costly).
3- Available farmland is decreasing (due to desertification, drought, flooding, soil poverty) meaning global food production may reduce in future.
If you’re a Tassomai user, this video will help you answer 3 quiz questions!
