Even after almost 4 years, Village and Pillage is still the greatest update to ever be released. It was so huge, while not feeling like something was forced. It revamped the boring villages, made the crafting system more interesting, added a lot of decorative, as well as functional blocks like lecterns, barrells, bells, lanterns, scaffolding etc. It was packed to the full. It even updated most of the game's textures. It also added raids.
