Remember kids, exposed skin doesnt necessarily make your temp feel cooler. Ling pants that are sweat wicking and light in color can make a huge difference in your level of comfort.

Bring back Sear Sucker! This was a really lightweight fabric in the late 70's and 80s and it had this checkerboard pattern in the weave of it and came in a rainbow of colors. But it was so light and had just wonderful airflow through the fabric! It was perfect for summer suits in the south especially because of the heat and humidity. I know it would be popular in the desert too.

This is the exact advice I’d give for women too! Living in a hot climate, you really focus on your accessories and materials. Keep your clothing from natural fibers, well ironed (if necessary), and the rest comes from the shoes, the belts, and jewelry.

Remember, even though you live in a hot climate, you're going to be going in and out of buildings for shopping and to see friends etcetera that are going to be air conditioned, some of them very cold. You have to have a jacket even in hot climates, or a sweater or a hoodie or something like that. Buildings are cold
