The music.. the tricks.. the commentary.. the scenery.. it's amazing how all these things live rent free inside your head not knowing they're there, but the instant you see it all the nostalgia hits you like a of bricks 😂

I honestly consider this game the main game for PS2. This game needs to be remastered for the latest PS console, with the newest graphics, as similar to the original as possible but with improvements and more stuff to unlock and do.

Booting this up as a launch title for the PS2 was one of the most memorable gaming moments I had when I was a kid. The leap from the PS1/N64 era to the PS2 was incredible.

2022 and I still have SSX main Theme in my riding playlist. I love this game and still play it on my PS2. Of course in HD on emulator, the game looks much better. Unfortunately we will never ever have these kind of extra fun arcade-snowboarding games any more. I like Riders Republic, which is a "fresh air breath" after a silence period but still... I would be more than happy to have at least a remaster of original SSX games (OG, Tricky and On Tour). The 3rd part and reboot (360) we can play on Xbox Series. I would personally backed 5 000 USD or more if there would be remaster/remake campaign on a Kickstarter :) But unfortunately it will never happen because even AAA games are slowly dying in the world of smartphone donation free-to-play games... So the best we can do, is to blow the dust from our PS2 consoles or buy it and connect it in a right way to the old/modern TV and play those masterpieces.
