Arduino controlled hydraulic motor and rams

Quick test of some 70 x 40 x 500 hydraulic cylinders and a 78cm3/rev motor controlled via an Arduino and some relays.

The amount of control over that hydraulic motor is incredible. Add a rotary encoder and you could probably build an insanely fast robot arm.

Do you use any PWM for speed controll? Or just ON-OFF control and reverse ? If you use PWM on wich frequence the movement are more accurate?
