It's just an online thing. I personally have never heard a negative thing about Australians. They have been tremendously helpful in times of need and welcomed all of our service personnel during times of conflict.

I just asked my friend in Australia. He says it's because the lack of culture honor. He said "we are American and people in America are saying they are everything but American. It we don't have pride and honor in our country anymore." It use to be a honor to be friends with a American now it's more of a laughing point.

As an Australian man I am ashamed by the state of my government, it’s media and some of my nations people. Many have lost their freedom loving spirit that they gained from their bushranger (outlaw convicts) ancestors and given in to the government oppression in modern times.
