All due respect to the legendary singer and it is so nice of her to be open about her difficulty in understanding the unconventional approach of ARR in making songs. She clearly confesses that until the songs were released and turned out to be hits l, she didn’t approve them completely. She even confesses about laughing over hits when made. Talking about ARRs live performances.. it just takes you to a different level altogether. The only live show which I ever attended was the one back in 2007 where there were super floods in Mumbai and most prominent singers couldn’t make it to the show in London. Thankfully, Alka Yagnik did manage to make it and it was a delight to see her perform on stage to ARRs music .. especially Zubeida .. for me, that album still holds a very special place in my heart 😊
