DONAGHCLONEY PARISH
HOLY TRINITY’S CAROL SERVICE
Greeting Grace, mercy and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. And also with you.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name,
he gave the right to become children of God (John 1:1-2 & 10-12)
Eternal God, as we come to this Christmas time again,
help us to worship you with all our heart and mind and strength;
and as we gaze at your crib, help us also to wonder at the cross;
for you are our Saviour and our Lord. Amen.
