I was killing myself laughing about Peter's reaction to the phone call telling him he had won! That was EXACTLY how I felt when I was told I was the Aussie winner in the Triumph Seeking Explorers competition to Spain & Morocco 2 years ago. What a FANTASTIC company Triumph are. The bike is that damn good that I gave up my old brand (an American brand that I had been riding for 36 years) to buy the Explorer Wire Wheel model. This new LT looks the ducks guts to me for touring, but right now I am having WAY too much fun to change over yet. Good onya Peter, and hope we meet up on the road sometime soon mate.
