4G63 Mitsubishi Powered Mustang - WTF?!

This unique x275 car, built by CDub Racing out of Louisville, KY caught everyones attention at the race just by the freak noise that it put out compared to the rest of the field.

For those of you complaining:
These guys have raced AWD DSMs for years, and did very well with them. They kept breaking parts, so they wanted to put their power into a car that would work and be light weight. What better way than in a fox body mustang? They are the ultimate drag car at the moment.

So he got beat in the video on a qualifying pass... Considering this was their first real outing with the car, 4.99 is killer. There are cars with much more out there running much slower, and 95% of you will never have a car that quick.

4G63 is one of the most simplest Mitsubishi engines to work on and repair. I got me a 4G63 myself and had it since I was 15 years old. 31 years old this May =). Good strong engines no doubt. Great video thanks for sharing.

I think this is pretty neat. I have a friend with a 4G63 Swapped RX7 in the low 10's, will probably be breaking into the 9's this season. I love unusual swaps. Pretty sure someone swapped in a Twin Rotor Wankel into a Mustang before too.

All this V8 hating, it looked to me like he got his ass busted by every V8 he ran against in this video lol. Props for doing something different, but once you dump a ton of money and boost into any engine, it really doesn't matter what it is. At some point it's just one wallet vs. another wallet.
