I think a lot of people forgot Raphael wrote "Lady" and played bass on the track. The brother is truly gifted!

Whew! unbelievable, how talented he is. Over 30 years of consistent solid hits for himself, his group, and other artists. So talented, just wow!

I had no idea he wrote all of these songs either. When he mentions “Fantasy” by Earth, Wind and Fire”?! That was my push song when I gave birth to my daughter.
This man is PURE GOLD. His voice, his groove. His soul. His charisma is off the charts!

I was today years old when I found out this man wrote “Kissing You” for Total and it TOTALLY MAKES SENSE! 👀🤣 I have loved that song since the very first time I heard it. I’ve had it on damn near every playlist I’ve created since then. I have loved everything this man had created since I was 12 years old so yeah, I totally get it, no pun intended. 😍

Edit: Didn’t know he wrote MOST of these song “Soul Sister”? “Cranes”? “ Love of my Life”?😳 I can hear him all over these songs now but I love how each artist was able to make each song their own 🥰 I’m so proud he is from Cali like me 😍

I love his “Yup, that was me too!” moments. This should’ve been the “You Don’t Put Enough Respect On My Name” tour 😂😂😂

My homeboy has been great at what he does (MUSIC) since we were kids in Oakland, Ca. Loyalty will get you a front spot with fans; Raphael has been a perfectionist since when I first met him; I had a tie on, and he straightened it for me, not because he had to; he pays attention to detail, outstanding performance, I would like to see him and his brother Dwayne back on stage!

What a phenomonel concert! He did his thing both vocally and musically, really illustrating his prowess on the guitar! So surprised by this because I don't live that far from Brooklyn but knew nothing of this concert and Raphael Saadiq is my favorite artist of today! In addition to his own solo hits, he gives you a taste of the things he collaborated on with Lucy Pearl, Q-Tip, Total, Erekah Badu, Bilal, Solange Knowles and, of course, Tony! Toni! Tone! The Track listing is as follows:

00:01 Ask of You
04:51 Dance Tonite
07:38 Get Involved
10:30 Kissin’ You
14:00 Love of My Life (An Ode To Hip Hop)
15:10 Soul Sista
16:23 “(I Tried To Take It) Away”
[not sure of the title]
18:30 “Let’s Get Down”
20:16 “Feels Good” (instrumental Prelude)
22:14 “Feels Good”
26:52 “ Still Ray”
